The Student Union Kristiania Bergen (SKB) is by and for students at Kristiania Bergen! Our office is located on the campus by Hansaparken.

Here, our various positions have the opportunity to have meetings and plan future activities. We greatly value cooperation within the offices and helping each other if needed! The aim is to learn, have fun and at the same time create added value for all students at Kristiania Bergen! DWe do this, among other things, by planning various events and lectures.

Local units

Studentunionen Kristiania Oslo consists of a number of units. Being part of an unit means in many ways the same as working in a company. The positions in the units are very close to reality and offer relevant experience.

To be part of a unit, you must apply for the desired position or have submitted an open application. The recruitment process usually takes place from the middle of the autumn semester for the following period which lasts one calendar year 01.01 - 31.12.

Taking on a position is entirely voluntary.

PR and communication

The PR and communications unit in SK Oslo work to create engagement and visibility for local events, activities and the organization as a whole. This involves the presence of SK Oslo on social media, RAMMA, photo, video, graphic design and web content.

Those who sit in the PR and communications unit often take part in social events and activities to document and create content that can be used as promotion for SK Oslo. The department is run as a communications agency and works closely with both local and national management, as well as all other units in SK Oslo.

The marketing unit

The marketing unit in SK Oslo works actively towards the business world to acquire partners and sponsors, while maintaining existing partnerships, for the benefit of the students at Kristiania. The marketing unit helps to strengthen SK Oslo as a brand and is therefore a central staff function in the organization.

They also have primary responsibility for booking and operating the stands on campus. In the market unit, one acquires highly relevant experience in relation to structured cooperation with external actors, brand building and the financial aspect of event business.

The association unit

Regardless of field of study or campus, all students at Kristiania can create a student association. An association exists to create extra commitment internally or across fields of study, campuses, departments and schools.

Examples of association activities can be anything from events with speakers, company visits and/or workshops. The biggest event for the Association unit are the Association Days. These are organized twice during the academic year - once per semester.

Event

Event is the unit behind many of the events and activities for the students at Kristiania, with the exception of Into Campus. Several major events are organized each year, including Kristiania til Fjells and exam events.

The unit also contributes to various other events throughout the year, in close collaboration with other units in SK Oslo.

The career unit

Under the auspices of the Career unit, SK Oslo organizes our annual career week together with Kristiania. The career week consisting of a three day career fair, where students at Kristiania get to network and gain insight into business life. Everything from planning, financial decisions and implementation will take place in collaboration with representatives from Kristiania. It is therefore important to familiarize yourself with the division of responsibilities in the unit.

The Career units also manages a career podcast, where they interview various people every week.

Into Campus

In connection with the start of the Fall semester, all new and existing students gather at Kristiania for a memorable week and an amazing start to their studies. Into Campus is SK Oslo and Kristiania's name and interpretation of Freshman week, and is a well-known event for new students at Kristiania, but also among other universities and colleges in Norway.

Into Campus is a memorable week with everything from large concerts to smaller activities where you get the opportunity to get to know your new fellow students, create lasting friendships and so much more.

Studentunionen mot barnekreft (SMB)

Studentunionen Mot Barnekreft er en årlig veldedighetsmarkering arrangert av Studentunionen Kristiania Bergen. Arrangementet finner sted hver høst i Bergen sentrum og har som hovedmål å samle inn penger til barnekreftforskning og støtte barn og familier som er berørt av kreft.

Deltakere bidrar ved å melde seg på og fullføre en løype på ca. tre kilometer. Arrangementet er lavterskel, og det er opp til deltakerne om de ønsker å løpe, jogge eller gå løypen.

Upcoming events

Who sits in SK Bergen?

The management at SK Oslo and SK Bergen each consists of its own executive board (HS).

HS is responsible for SK being operated locally according to the statutes that have been approved by the general meeting. It is also HS's responsibility that the committees comply with given guidelines. HS works actively together with the committees to meet objectives and milestones for the period, as well as. ensure successful operation.
