Creating such a big and exciting sponsor week as Into Campus is a lot of work, and we need some good helpers!

Do you want to contribute to the new students getting a great start to student life?
Do you want to get to know new people across studies?
Would you like to add a little extra to your CV, and see behind the scenes at a festival-like event? Then maybe you are exactly what we are looking for!

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE CREW?

As a crew, you are one of the most important pieces in creating Into Campus, and you will work both before and during the sponsor week itself. Into Campus takes place in week 33, but we need crew at the end of week 32 as well. This week, the tasks will mostly be setting up at Youngstorget, to make the tent ready to receive students in week 33. You can read more about the tasks for week 33 further down.

During the sponsor week, you will work under both calm and hectic circumstances with a great variety of tasks. You will gain exciting, new experiences and learn a lot. In addition, you will create new friendships and contacts and be good role models for new and existing students - and not least, create memories for life!

WHAT DO I GET AS A CREW?

In addition to new experiences, there are also other cool benefits of being a crew! Among other things, you will get:

  • Erfaring in cooperation

  • One hot meal per shift

  • Personal volunteer certificate for the work you have done

  • Be present at the best sponsor week in Norway

  • New friends

HOW MUCH SHOULD I WORK?

You decide how much you want to work. One shift will be between 6-8 hours.
ATTENTION! There are separate rules for holding office in SHK.

WHAT CAN I WORK WITH?

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF ME?

No previous knowledge or previous experience is expected to be a crew member.
Here we have room for everyone with work effort.

At the same time, you will be the face of Into Campus to the outside world, which is why certain expectations are placed on behavior during guard duty. It is important that you show up punctually, are not under the influence of drugs, do your work duties, and are helpful and accommodating towards other volunteers, the board, the school and, not least, sponsor children and sponsors.

ARE YOU WONDERING ABOUT ANYTHING MORE?

If you have questions about being a volunteer during the roughest week of the course, you can contact the crew manager atina.ic@studentunionen.no

We want to do everything we can to ensure that you have a good time at work.
The crew manager will also be available throughout the week, so feel free to contact us with feedback or questions along the way.
